How to book:

  1. Phone 01437 720234 to provisionally reserve your dates.
  2. Weekly from Saturday to Saturday.
  3. Print the Booking Form and post with a deposit of £50. Cheques made payable to "Ty Mortimer". Please read Booking Conditions.
  4. Confirmation will be sent on receipt of deposit.
  5. The balance of payment requested no later than 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Directions and other details will be sent on receipt of final payment.

Booking conditions:

  1. Once your booking has been confirmed by us, a contract is made and you are responsible for the full cost of the holiday. If you have to cancel your holiday over 6 weeks before the start date we will endeavour to rebook the accommodation and if we are successful in doing so before the 6 weeks margin your liability to pay the balance will cease. If you cancel within 6 weeks of the holiday start date and payment has been made in full there will be no refund, any money paid should be claimed back from your holiday insurance. In all cases of cancellation the deposit is forfeited.
  2. We reserve the right to refuse entry to or repossess the cottage at any time if it is considered that the occupiers are unsuitable for any reason.
  3. The cottage is primarily let to family/attached parties up to the number of persons stated. Those arriving with 'extras' risk refusal.
  4. The holiday period starts from 3.00pm on the booked day of arrival and we ask for the accommodation to be vacated by 10.00am on the morning of departure.
  5. You are responsible for the accommodation and its equipment whilst in occupation and it is expected that it will be left in a clean and tidy condition on departure. Where necessary guests will be held liable for repair/replacement costs.
  6. We do not accept liability for any loss or damage to personal effects, baggage, motor cars etc. Cars are parked on the premises at the owners’ risk. Use of any facility is done so at your own risk.
  7. If for any reason beyond our control we have to cancel the holiday arrangement we will refund all monies received and any further liabilities for either party will cease.
  8. Electricity is paid at the end of the holiday as per usage.
  9. Bed linen, excluding bedding for cots, is included in the hire charge. The beds, with continental quilts, are made up prior to your arrival. A hand and bath towel are available for hire £5 per person for cottage use only.
  10. Deposit: £50 per week is payable on booking, with the balance due six weeks before the start of your holiday. If you are booking with your holiday less than six weeks away, we ask you to pay the full amount.

Mini breaks are available certain times of the year.

Access statement

  • Parking is on a concrete base with a huge lawned area in front of the cottage. A wide stepped pathway leads to the entrance of Ty Mortimer.
  • Ground and first floor. With bathroom and toilet facilities on first floor only.
  • Kitchen has modern work surfaces, kitchen cupboards with an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and cordless kettle together with all other cooking utensils, crockery, china and glasses. Dining table and chairs are also in the spacious kitchen.
  • Washing machine and tumble drier are provided in the adjacent utility room to the kitchen. Also the vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, airer, first aid kit, torch and hairdryer. Rotary washing line outside.
  • Ty Mortimer is heated with fixed night storage radiators with self regulated fixed radiators in the bedrooms. A coal effect electric fire is supplementary in the sitting room.
  • Floor covering on ground floor is of ceramic tiles with rugs.
  • The lounge is comfortably furnished with three-seater settee and two matching chairs, lamps and rug. Information leaflets, maps, books, games and photographs are available.
  • T.V with teletext facilities and video, both have remote control. A radio is also provided.
  • A spiral wooden staircase leads to landing upstairs to two spacious bedrooms. One double bed in one room and three single beds in the other room all provided with spring interior mattresses. Some rugs are tastefully placed on the wooden floorboards upstairs.
  • Each bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and wooden chest of drawers. Wooden bedside cabinets and lamps furnish each bedroom. All bedding is made of polyester and cotton materials and the duvets and pillows are of hollow fibre.
  • In the bathroom there is a bath with an overhead shower, toilet and wash-hand basin. Night storage radiator warms the room. Shower point with light and mirror.
  • Access to the back lawned area, over slightly uneven ground, to watch fantastic sunsets. Garden seating and table and barbecue are available.
  • Ty Mortimer, a listed building is situated on Treginnis Uchaf Farm and within 1½ miles west of St Davids. Treginnis is a National Trust farm with land on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Within 10 minutes the Coastal Path is accessible and also Porthllisky Bay for swimming and snorkeling.
  • Some mobile phone networks area available in the cottage.

  • During the summer months, a coastal shuttle bus passes the crossroads, ¾ mile away every 1hr. St Davids - 1½ miles. Buses and trains to and from Haverfordwest – 18 miles, Fishguard – 16 miles.
