Ty Mortimer

Ty Mortimer, a Grade II listed National Trust property on an organic working sheep farm,retains the character of a stone built cottage but benefits from modern comforts. It is comfortably and tastefully decorated with a country cottage feel. Ty Mortimer sleeps up to 5 persons with a modern equipped kitchen/dining room, utility room and sitting room downstairs. Upstairs there is a double room, a three bedded room and a bathroom/toilet. The spacious kitchen allows the choice of eating and relaxing around a farmhouse table.

Ty Mortimer has a grassed area to the rear of the cottage to relax on and view the magnificent sunsets. Garden furniture is provided and a barbecue set is available.

The cottage has a cosy feel and is heated by night storage radiators and electric convector heaters in the bedrooms. The red quarry tiles and oak beam lintels complete the country feel.

The sitting room has a three piece suite, coal effect wood burner style electric fire, rug, television, video player, dvd player and a quarry tiled floor. In the utility room there is a washing machine, tumble drier, vacuum cleaner, iron & ironing board, child's high chair. Upstairs, a double bedded room with an iron bedstead and a three bedded rooom with rugs on the wooden floors. Bed linen(duvets, pillows, sheets and spare blankets) are provided and the beds are made up prior to your arrival. Walk in wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets with lamps complete the spacious rooms. A baby's travel cot is available. The wooden beams create a homely feeling. The light and airy bathroom has an overhead shower in the bath with a shaver socket and light over the wash hand basin.
